Once again, Inhorgenta has succeeded in strengthening its position. The results of many exhibitors were positive: Sandro Erl, managing director of the jewelry manufacturer Niessing, for example, is convinced that the importance of the trade fair will be further consolidated by the strong international orientation.
Klaus Dittrich, CEO of Messe München, is also satisfied with the response from visitors and exhibitors: “We had consistently positive feedback for Inhorgenta Munich 2018, but also in general for the development of the trade fair in recent years.”
Its enormous potential for the global travel industry was impressively underscored by the Medical Tourism sector at the ITB Berlin. The segment, which premiered last year at the world’s largest travel trade fair, had moved to the larger Hall 21b due to strong demand. The Travel Technology segment was once again one of the strong growth sectors this year. Exhibitors such as eNett, Traso, Triptease and Paymentwall, which have expanded their space, and repeat visitors such as Travelport or Newcomer Hospitality Industry Club represented the great potential of this ongoing growth segment. Especially Chinese exhibitors are gaining ground in this area. For example, the Chinese online portal Ctrip presented its products in Berlin for the first time.
